| Text of decision | The original decision was to close Macmillan College air quality monitoring station, however, this has be reversed and it has now been decided to close the Elms Street air monitoring station instead. The reason for the reversal of the decision was due to 1. A new requirements for quality control and quality audits of the site which may have been compromised by a large tree nearby. 2. The site at Elm Street has potential for re-development now the registry office has closed, which could result in the loss of the Elm street monitoring location. 3. The Macmillan college location better fits the criteria for a classification of an urban background location. |
