Text of decisionTo implement the pilot Resource Allocation System as a mainstream offer to carers in Middlesbrough as described in option one of the relevant report; and,

Monitor and evaluate outcomes for carers as well as the financial impacts, at the same time maintaining good social work practice in terms of flexible and creative support planning utilising community resources and networks before provisioning services to meet outcomes.
Reason for decisionTo use the pilot carers indicative allocation as the main offer for carers eligible for social care support who live within the Middlesbrough area or have service users living within Middlesbrough but live out of the Middlesbrough area.
Other options considered (if any)Option 2
