Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Decision:

Ratepayers previously awarded fund relief will have a further top up award made reducing 2021-22 rates liability, pro-rata to the sum remaining available for disbursement.

In line with existing policy, accounts where the additional relief to be awarded would be £10.00 or less will be excluded from eligibility to a top up award.

All remaining funds will be allocated by 30 September 2022.

Reasons for the decision:

Funds have been provided by Central Government. Where funds remain unallocated, in line with the CARF policy an amendment to the scheme can be made to ensure all funds are allocated, benefiting Middlesbrough ratepayers to the maximum afforded.
