Recommendation: that Panel Members consider, discuss and agree the Terms of Reference for the scrutiny review of Middlesbrough’s Bicentenary 2030.

The Head of Marketing and Communications will be in attendance to provide further evidence in relation to the review of Middlesbrough’s Bicentenary.

Recommendation: that the Scrutiny Panel notes the information provided and considers what further information is required for the scrutiny investigation.

The Chair will provide an update on his recent visit to Barnsley and discussion with representatives from Barnsley Civic which will form part of the evidence being gathered towards the review of Middlesbrough’s Bicentenary.

The Head of Public Protection and Selective Landlord Licensing Manager will be in attendance to provide an overview on the Selective Landlord Licensing Scheme / Licensing of Private Rented Properties and the wider context of the Private Rented Sector in Middlesbrough.

Recommendation: that the Scrutiny Panel notes the information provied, agrees a formal title for the review and determines what further information will be required for this scrutiny investigation.
