In the event the fire alarm sounds attendees will be advised to evacuate the building via the nearest fire exit and assemble at the Bottle of Notes opposite MIMA.

The Chair will provide a verbal update on matters considered at the Overview and Scrutiny Board held on 18 March 2026.

Members are invited to approve the Terms of Reference for the Violence Against Women and Girls review.  These have been shaped through previous discussion and are now submitted for formal agreement. 

The Director of Education will be in attendance to provide further evidence and respond to members’ questions in relation to the panel’s review of ‘Violence Against Women and Girls – How to Tackle It’ 

The Corporate Director of Adult Social Care and Health will present the quarterly update of the CQC Improvement Plan.

The Joint Director of Public Health for South Tees will be in attendance to present the 2026 Director of Public Health Annual Report. 

Any other urgent items which in the opinion of the Chair, may be considered.
