Review into Adult Homeless accomodation

We the undersigned petition the council to do the following: Have a thorough review of all adult homeless accommodation providers. This is to ensure that current providers are meeting the care needs of our Homeless population in a way that is safe for all our residents, and that they are actively engaging with community safety. This is necessary to make sure that providers who are not meeting this standard have their contracts revoked and that the council stop using these providers.

Some adult homeless provision is falling far short of the care our homeless need and this lack of care is causing serious criminality issues within our communities, including (but not limited to); active on street drug taking, drug dealing, public defecation, sex in public areas, used needles on nursery property, violence, theft, verbal abuse, assault and stalking.
