Delegated Authority relied upon: The Council is obligated to ensure all matters related to Health Safety are carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (as amended) all associated Regulations. In accordance with the above the Head of Paid Service (Chief Executive) is ultimately responsible for the development and implementation of the Council's Health and Safety policy at Middlesbrough Council.
