The urgency request is therefore around the implementation of the decision, if made.
The decision will be considered on 26.02.25 and will require implementation, if approved, by 28.02.25 to comply with the DfE deadline to provide the budget shares to the maintained schools.
We are required to confirm that political ratification has been received by the required date. This is to be in line with our internal scheme of delegation, required for us to be able to issue budgets to maintained schools before 28 February 2025.
As per the Executive Scheme of Delegation, the exec member for Education & Culture has the authority make this decision.
